As part of the inaugural year of The Bridge Arts Foundation's art program, The Open Call Exhibition is designed to provide support for early-career artists. In its first edition, "Beyond Borders" Open Call Exhibition has carefully selected 18 talented artists from around 60 submissions through a process involving art professionals.
These artists will proudly showcase their work at The Scholart Selection, an art space located in San Gabriel, California, from October 14th to December 31st, 2023.
"Beyond Borders" stands as a compelling testament to the remarkable tapestry of creativity that unfolds across our global landscape. Within this enchanting exhibition, a cohort of emerging artists, vibrant in their youth, masterfully weaves together a captivating mosaic of cultures and artistic expressions.
Their collective voices transcend not only geographic boundaries but also the limitations of convention. Spanning various mediums such as painting, sculpture, mixed media, and video, each displayed work testifies to the limitless potential that emerges when creative souls boldly surpass boundaries, crafting fresh narratives in the continually evolving realm of art.
The featured artists include Yinan Chen, Royce Feng, Shizun Huang, Webson Ji, Wenjie Jin, Phidia Kang, Simay Keles, Yunqian Lin, Ki Yeun Kim, Alvin Mak, Ricder Ricardo, Wonchul Ryu, Ningzi Tang, Maoqing Ye, Amy Yoshitsu, Guigen Zha, Kiki Zhen and Ellen Zhu.
